Happy New Year! We are going to try a "monthly news" update. Our crew has been fortunate enough to be in the fields recently. The sprayer has been running early corn herbicide, spreaders putting down lime and dry fertilizer, and anhydrous rigs prepping ground. Our cattle are all moved closer to home. They are fed silage daily, chopped from some of last years corn crop! A few new pivots have gone up and we are waiting on the final touches to be finished to irrigate 2025 crops. Our guys will be hooked up hard doing maintenance to machinery while winter is in full effect. Evan and his fiance, Quinci, will be welcoming a baby GIRL in early June! Lots of new and exciting things happening this year. Praying for safe and successful plant seasons and harvests. Happy farming from us here at Porter Family Ag!
